從比例來看,我曾聽過也覺得喜歡的西洋情歌男女對唱的並不多,不過今天剛好想起一首蠻喜歡的,也很快的就找到了,就是這首Don't cry joni。
特別的是,主唱的Conway Twittty與Jonie Lee還是一對父女檔。
歌詞是在敘述一對互為鄰居多年的青梅竹馬,有一天女孩鼓起勇氣寫信向他示愛,而他以她年紀還小為理由拒絕了她。後來男孩離家出外工作五年後,才終於發現他心裡愛的還是她,於是買了機票,匆忙趕回跑到她家時..沒想到...
那女孩已經嫁給了他最要好的朋友。
"愛要及時"基本上我是完全同意的。
我不太懂的是才22歲的Jimmy為何等不及她長大?歐吉尚22歲和女孩面對的時候,緊張得連一雙手要擺在哪,都還拿不定主意咧!他有那麼迫不及待嗎?
還有那個女的,Jimmy離開5年,她也不過才20歲而已,竟然就匆匆忙忙的"看破嫁別人"...這也讓歐吉尚粉想沒有,會不會是這個Joni根本就是個早秋兼恐龍妹?
也許是15歲確實是小了點,否則,差7歲其實只能算"而已",隨便找個差7歲的成年組合,怎麼看都是嘟嘟好而已,如32與25或42與35或52-45,甚至是62與55也都應該可以一路攜手從乾柴烈火;至少是如魚得水的走到油盡燈枯才對...
